A year ago today a wonderful man by the name of William F. Buckley Jr. passed away. He was one of the greatest conservative minds of the 20th century and was one of the leading intellectuals behind the movement for over 40 years. He founded National Review and brought together several different groups that now form the constituency of the Conservative Movement. He had an extraordinarily bright mind and was an excellent debater. We owe a debt of gratitude to all that he did during his lifetime.
